The M2SYS Bioplugin Fingerprint system interfaces with the Childcare Sage Timeclock to let parents, children, and staff sign in and out using their fingerprint. If you have more than 1 timeclock computer at your center and you want to install more than 1 fingerprint scanner, please do the following:

(Please make sure all of the computers are on the same network.)
(If you need help setting this up, please call us.)

****************************************************************************
You have a server or central computer that will not have a fingerprint scanner attached to it
(go to the BioPlugin Downloads page from your account on our website)

On the central computer:
1) install the BioPlugin Timeclock Client Files
2) install the BioPlugin Timeclock Server Files
3) share the c:\ccsagetimeclock\ folder with the network
4) install the M2SYS BioPlugin Hybrid Server (don't reboot after it is installed)
5) change the M2SYS BioPlugin settings through the icon in the control panel to the settings in the BioPlugin manual
6) reboot the computer

On each timeclock computer that will have a fingerprint scanner:
1) install the M2SYS BioPlugin Hybrid Client
2) install the BioPlugin Timeclock Network Client Files
3) map a drive to the shared folder on the server (step 3) above)
4) make the change to the client.ini file described at the end

****************************************************************************
You don't have a server or central computer
(go to the BioPlugin Downloads page from your account on our website)

On the timeclock computer that will be used most often:
1) install the BioPlugin Timeclock Client Files
2) install the BioPlugin Timeclock Server Files
3) share the c:\ccsagetimeclock\ folder with the network
4) install the M2SYS BioPlugin Hybrid Server (don't reboot after it is installed)
5) install the M2SYS BioPlugin Hybrid Client (don't reboot after it is installed)
6) change the M2SYS BioPlugin settings through the icon in the control panel to the settings in the BioPlugin manual
7) reboot the computer

On all other timeclock computers that will have a fingerprint scanner:
1) install the M2SYS BioPlugin Hybrid Client
2) install the BioPlugin Timeclock Network Client Files
3) map a drive to the shared folder on the server (step 3) above)
4) make the change to the client.ini file described at the end

****************************************************************************
Changes to the Client.ini file:

To use the fingerprint scanners from multiple timeclock computers, make the following change to the client.ini file to each timeclock computer that will have a fingerprint scanner and that doesn't have the M2SYS BioPlugin Hybrid Server installed on it.

For windows 7,8 the file is in the programdata folder in the root drive (the folder might be hidden, so set the folder options to view all files (including system files.)

For windows xp, the file is in the users then common data folder on the root drive.

Open the file with Microsoft Notepad. The contents of the file are:

[App Interface]
InterfaceMechanism=WM
ON_NO_FOUND_RETURN_VALUE=000000000

[eVigilance]
Request_Handler=Server

[Server]
PORT=1200
IP=localhost

[KEY]
REGISTRATION_ID=
LOCATION_ID=1
Resolution=500

[GUI]
DEFAULT_LEFTFINGER=3
DEFAULT_RIGHTFINGER=3
[ENGINE]
CURRENT_ENGINE=FP2

**** You only want to change the line:
IP=localhost
to
IP=(ip address of server or central computer that has the Hybrid Server installed on it- 192.168.1.10, etc.)

Save the file and you are done.
