If you have multiple computers accessing childcare sage, and the mapped drive stopped working (you click on the drive that says "ccsage (name of main computer)" and you get an error that says "handle is invalid"; the problem is in a Microsoft Update on the main computer (the update only affected windows 7 computers). You need to uninstall the update and restart the computer.
To do this: 1) go onto the main computer and click on the windows start button 2) where it says: "Search Programs and Files", type in: updates (don't hit enter,) and then click "View Installed Updates" 3) wait for the list of updates to populate and click on "Installed On" at the top 4) scroll down to "Microsoft Windows" and click on the KB4480970 update and then click Uninstall at the top of the list 5) restart the computer (wait for the system to configure,) and you are all set |
